Berlin walking tour August 11, 2006

Posted by Amanda in Travel Diary.

Have I said it before? I love Berlin!! I think it is my favourite city in Europe with all the buzz of creativity and the history.

We did the famous eight hour walking tour on Friday. The time flew by and the tour went to mostly different places than the first time we were in Berlin. I have to recommend it to anyone ever thinking of going to Berlin. But make sure you pay for a tour and don’t take one of the free ones. The paid ones are much more comprehensive with guides who really know their stuff. Most have studied German History.

We went with Brewers Berlin Tours and last time we went with Berlin Walks. Both were well worth the 10-12 Euro.

We also went on a separate tour to one of the flak towers from the war. That was really interesting too. That was with Underground Berlin
